We, as a society, are committed to creating a vibrant and inclusive creative space that celebrates the rich tapestry of our cultures. Our vision is to foster an environment where everyone feels valued, respected, and encouraged to share their unique perspectives, talents, and ideas.

Diversity is at the heart of our society, and we firmly believe that embracing our differences enriches our collective experiences. Whether you are from Turkish or New Zealand heritage, or from any background that appreciates and admires our cultures, we extend a warm invitation to you to be a part of this incredible journey.

Below are some of our membership benefits: 

- Membership will provide opportunities for learning and personal growth through workshops, lectures, and events related to the society's field of interest. 

- Membership will also offer networking opportunities, allowing you to connect with like-minded individuals, professionals in your field, and potential collaborators or employers. 

- Additionally, members will have access to exclusive events that are only open to members. 

- All members of the Türkiye and New Zealand Cultural Society who are 18 years and over will be able to vote at General Meetings .

- You'll become a member of our private Facebook group, exclusively for our members, where we foster a sense of solidarity within our community. This group is a platform for members to connect, share information, and participate in discussions related to our interests, and to support each other in our endeavors.

- Majority of our events will be at a discounted rate for our members.

Respectful behaviour

Members must be respectful to each other and refrain from bullying, harassment, hate speech, or personal attacks.

No self-promotion

Members should not use the group to promote their own products, services, or causes.

Relevant content

Members should only post content that is relevant to the society's mission and focus 

Confidentiality

Members should respect the privacy of other members and not share sensitive information outside of the group 

No spamming

Members should not spam the group with repetitive or irrelevant messages.

No political or religious discussions

Members should avoid political or religious discussions to keep the group focused on its mission.

Moderations

The group moderators have the right to remove any content or member that violates the group's rules.

Privacy Act:

This membership gives permission for the society to include all the details on the master membership list and on lists held by committee members.
